Finally finished!!

Three skeins of lace weight two-ply, 250g in total. One ply is Regenbogenwolle mini batts in „Wing Whisper“, the other is Lang Yarns „Cashmere Dreams“ in seafoam green. One of my woolee winder bobbins is free, youpiiii!!

Taash Week 2026 Day 7: Free Day

Well, time flies, energy is low. I originally planned on spinning the art batt I carded last year to celebrate Taash Week, but RL kicked me in the ass (yet again). So instead, I decided to take a couple glamour shots of the Taash batt and hopefully work on spinning it at a later date. I do have plans, I promise!

This batt is 40g, and consists of a mix of merino, baby camel, baby alpaca and silk dyed in different shades of teal, seafoam, mint green and grey. For a pop of colour and a more interesting texture representing the Lords and Taash's dar-saam, I added recycled sari silk in red with multicolour nepps.

I'm not completely sure yet how I want to process this batt, but I am thinking something with an autowrap thread and possibly some gold coins hung on it here and there? Time will tell. But I am very happy about how this came out :)

@birdtober Day 25: Toco Toucan

The Toco Toucan is the largest and probably best known species of toucan and can be found in large parts of central and eastern South America.

I am a bit early but my depressed brain says this thing is too ugly to post so I will do it in spite, before I can change my mind.

BronzeAgeMom finished a sweater for BronzeAgeSis featuring Bronzie‘s handspun! Mixed with some DROPS kid silk in ivory for extra floof. I am quite proud, this turned out beautiful :)

still working on the silk/alpaca after a spinning hiatus. the last months were tough and I spent my evenings vegging out in front of the PC and writing fic, but I really miss doing something more soothing, so here we are. Getting into red territory soon!

After more than 2 months, the balcony renovation is finally done! And I present: The newly refurbished spinning couch. Now, if only this infernal 34C heat could please fuck off, I‘d be one happy Bronzie…

Finished another thing! Left is Frau Wöllfchen „Dancing Alone“ alpaca/silk, right is Regenbogenwolle „Bittersweet“ merino/alpaca/camel/silk blend. Think these together could make a really cute cropped striped cardigan??
