I am honestly most of the time very cut happy about The Tribe of Rushing Waters because I truly CANNOT be bothered to unpack that can of worms that adds so little narratively. The payoff is so minuscule for the amount of effort. But the one plotline I think would have made them worthwhile would have been Brook as Jaypaw's mentor. Jaypaw's accessibility needs + the need for her to be seen as a part of the Clan + Firestar's more forward thinking attitude he is attributed in fanon would honestly make for an interesting possibility if he experimented with the idea of training up non-generalist warriors that had only hunting OR battle training. Plus I think that kind of proximity to a protagonist from the beginning of the arc would really allow her culture room to be developed.
