hiatus update

life events and health events and family events have kept me pretty disconnected for a while, and it's likely gonna be a while before i'm able to be anything resembling "active" here

that said, i've been doing a lot of writing, and if i can get any of it polished enough to post it'll probably go straight to my ao3

It has been 37 years as of today since we lost you. I have spent 19 of those 37 years adoring you and giving you favorite drummer tittle. We all miss you being here and your birthday while hard to celebrate without you is nothing like the pain of today..... I will be making art for you today in your honor and I will be listening to your music and interviews all day to hear your talent, your voice and your contagious laughter that once filled the rooms of your friends and bands.Your sweet smile is always on my mind. In the future I will be getting a tattoo in your memory. My right inner forearm but higher up on it, a skull with long black hair, blue eyes a tophat and crossbones made of drumsticks as well as your name and the band you were in, Hanoi Rocks. While I always wonder what you would be doing now, and what you would have accomplished by now, I mostly spend it wishing you were here with us. We love you our sweet angel, so so much.
