Basquiat by Takun Williams
Feeling a bit like a ghost again.
The Avon 9th Street Theatre in the Park Slope neighborhood of Brooklyn, as seen in an undated photo from at least the mid-to-late 1940s. (Gone With the Wind was released in 1939 but was periodically re-released for decades afterward.) The theater later became a porno house and by 1975 was deteriorating; McDonalds acquired the property and demolished the theater. Photo via brooklynpast.com.
