The Brooklyn Bakery is located on a street just off from the Forum.
As the name suggests this café turned bakery and specialist cake shop was founded by a brother and sister hailing from Brooklyn. Wanting to bring a slice of their hometown to every Roman and now Greek demi-god’s backyard they set up shop in the heart of New Rome.
In their second year of business the siblings discovered that their weekend cupcake sales were a huge hit with customers, which eventually led to the decision to expand their business into the first founded bakery in New Rome. Quality is a priority and the people with the friendly faces you see behind the counter, expertly make the tasty treats and sandwiches served in store every day.
As the business grew the siblings hired in more keen bakers and together they took the bakery through another renovation. The final product is the bakery that all of New Rome knows and loves, serving some of the most creative specialist cakes ever seen in the city.
If you’ve got an interest in baking, cooking or simply want to look at some of the incredible and tasty talent this is definitely the place for you! The shop-front is constantly changing, always displaying the latest cake or pastry designed by the creative individuals who work inside. If you need a cake or batch of pastries for a special occasion then you’ve come to the right place.
The bakery is owned and run by the Gregg siblings.
