(Since we will be seeing peraltiago’s baby soon, here’s a headcanon!)

It’s been six months since Amy’s firstborn came to the world. It is more exhausting than she expected, but it’s worth it. Jake has been really protective towards the baby, like asking almost every hour if he’s okay and always think of the baby before himself. The Amy seven years ago wouldn’t believe this: Jake Peralta having a baby.

Amy stumbled upon a white teddy bear as she enters the kitchen. She hasn’t seen it yet, but it looks very familiar. There’s a red tie around its neck, just like the teddy bear Amy has in her bedroom. But the difference is, her teddy bear is brown.

She jumped as she heard the front door open. 

“Hey Ames! you home?”

Amy gave Jake a broad smile as he put the baby onto her arms. 

“Hey little guy, how’s hanging out with daddy Jake go?” she said as she played with the baby’s fingers. 

“He seems to be having fun!” Jake smiled at the both of them. This is everything he’s ever wanted, who would’ve thought that he will have a perfect family? And married to someone he truly loves?

“Oh by the way, you must be wondering about that teddy bear,” Jake pointed to the kitchen island where the teddy bear was placed. 

Amy nodded curiously.

“It’s for him. Our baby. I don’t know if you noticed, but it’s similar to the one I gave you on Valentine’s Day. That one is white though...”

The baby laughed as Amy kissed his cheeks.

“...but, I gave the baby a similar teddy bear to show that you both are everything to me. You both complete me, I will die for the both of you, and most importantly, I wouldn’t be who I am now if it wasn’t for the both of you.”

Amy blushed. “Jake that’s so sweet...”

He wiped the tear off her face and gave her a tender kiss. Everything seems so perfect. To Jake, whenever he’s with Amy, the world is timeless. No one and nothing could take this away from him.

“Anyway, who wants mac n cheese?!” he said, waving a popeye’s paper bag.

I Can't get over

Brooklyn nine nine never ceases to amaze me. No other show can combine all their characters Brooklyn nine nine does. It's so natural on the shoe sometimes I forget that no other show can have any combo and have it not be unusual. This show is a godsend
