What if

Bella can fly unassisted but did not in the Battle of Seven Potters because of her pregnancy? Rowling said broomless flight is like wandless magic and only the most powerful of witches and wizards can do it. Surely if Snape was powerful enough to do it, so was Bella.

I picture Snape picking up Hermione and flying her around Hogwarts or a ocean with his broomless flight ability.

And at first, Hermione freaks the fuck out, clinging to him. but he smiles, and squeezes her affectionately. And even though her grip doesn’t loosen, she does relax and enjoys the fear.
