This GM is breaking my heart you guys, ooph.
I’mma paraphrase this as briefly as I can because I’m bad at making teal deer BUT Gretchen and Brotgar have been dating for a while, and are at the point where they’re considering getting hitched. Because she’s barely gotten to spend any time with him, she figured she could invite him to an exclusive party the group was invited to as her +1. Against his better judgement, he decided to go despite there being representatives of the company that tortured him being there as well, because he missed being with her too.
Naturally, the GM wasn’t going to let this go off without a hitch.
Someone at the party somehow not only saw through his disguise somehow, but spoke a key phrase that activated one of his conditioned responses, like a sleeper agent sort of thing. He was ordered to teleport everyone out of the room (except Gene Factory and the party), and then leave. Naturally, Gretchen was livid and cast Judgment on the person responsible, which I wish I could say did her in, or even hit, but neither happened because the dice hate me.
As for the black and white doodles, I just want these two to have a happy ending, but as time goes I’m admittedly starting to think it’s not going to happen. The GM loves tragedy, and has already doled out more than our fair share of it, so I’m hesitant to move forward in anything that could lead to us getting killed, tortured, or something worse.
