“Perhaps it may come as a shock to thee, but I have considered dressing more… Appropriately… The veil, for instance.”

A pause.

“… But if I am to be wed without the veil, I do not wish to wear pants. Please understand. I am covered in fur, and they are discomforting. I have shaved myself in the past, but it is only a short term solution as it all grows back…”

“Th— the veil?!” He sounds outright disgusted. “On such a special occasion, celebrating the love thou share between thyself and another, thou wishest to present thyself as someone else entirely…? Nonsense! I will not have it. I would sooner see the thing shredded.”

He’s about to comment on the pants thing then, but first…

“… Wait… Thou hast shaved thyself?!” His laughter is… not soft. In fact, it thunders. “Thou cannot be serious! My own brother, the fluffy little babe, traipsing about naked as a plucked hen — hah!”

It takes a second for the laughter to die down before he continues speaking, batting a hand. “No, no, at this point, my brother, thou wearing pants would be yet another way to present thyself as another man entirely. The Morgott I know would never stoop to such lows.” An eyeroll. “Perhaps… a simple robe, similar to thy current rags, but less… well, ragged? Something light, that does not tug at the fur, and not terribly ornate, lest thou looketh like a clown upon a stage…”

He prattles on for a while in thought, a claw clicking the horns at his chin.

Hans and Werner like to call their brother Werner as "big brother" not bc hes big (Werner is shorty).... but bc Werner is well.... the eldest brother...... it really makes Werner annoyed sometimes he thinks theyre making fun of him because of his height but they actually love him so much😭😭😭 they also consider him stronger than themselves so they definitely cant call Werner as "little brother"...

silly fact Werner is not only amputee but also a little deaf😋 he often prefers the language of gestures over words... I love imagining him and one of the brothers together... when they speak it is an intimate ritual. Varai/Hans would draw close... his words whispers secrets meant only for Werner's ears... they sit shoulder to shoulder, the warmth of their connection palpable in the intervals between whispered words and silent nods

I also like to imagine Werner who was still abusive towards Hans (until he lost his other leg) and he could whisper threats of reprisal to him or how he wants to see him dead..... he'd says stuff like "you think you're a saint, taking care of me?" or "one day, you'll see what it feels like to be helpless." Werner almost hisses, and there's anger in his voice, but it's still very quiet. these whispers would sometimes escalate, the threat palpable as Werner would articulate his darker thoughts. his threats still made sense because he could hurt even with a single hand . he'd say like almost in a trance "I'd love to see the life drain from your eyes" his voice barely audible yet chillingly clear

sorry for these i just have many thought in my brain i even wanted to make a vn about them but ppl wouldnt appreciate it and would rather hate me for these questionable relationships between Varai and norwegian weirdos

The brothers are so sweet I love love it! I am curious, is their love a secret from their family & friends?

I'm glad that at least someone loves the brothers...

Werner doesn't have many friends.... and Hans doesn't have at all... as you already know, he only talks to his family members so... only his family are his friends.

They don't really hide their love from their family. Werner was the first to tell his parents that he had.... warm feelings for his brother. But the parents took it that Werner just started to treat his brother well, they would never have thought of the fact that Hans and Werner are in a relationship. They hide from their parents only that they accepted Varai as their brother, their family doesn't like "humans in question" like him. Although I can't said that Varai is also in a relationship with them, only Hans loves Varai a little more than just as a brother, Werner seems to "friendzone" (brotherzone lol idk?) him a little. He keeps Varai a little at a distance and rarely allows himself to be touched....

They consider their love to be wrong, so they don't like public displays of love, never hold hands and don't kiss when other people see them....... Though their family didn't tell them anything about incest, but they believe that their parents wouldn't be very happy if instead of creating their own family with children, they would just be gay lol. To some extent, they feel guilty that they love each other and that they accepted a random dirty man into the family.
