2015 Château de la Chaize Brouilly

Feelin’ pretty swell because it’s Friday, amirite?! Enjoying this juice that’s one of the lighter styles of Beaujolais. Cherries, mixed red berries, blueberries, and currants on the nose. Gentle cherries and berries on the palate with light tannins. Give it a chill and serve. Nice. No frills.

Peter Frischknecht, here pictured probably during the 1978-79 season, was a swiss cyclist, in cyclo-cross he won the national championship and finished second at the Worlds four times, including one time in the amateur category. He’s the father of mtb legend Thomas, and his grandson Andri is also riding these days!

It’s the most wonderful time of the year when you have some nice Beaujolais on paw. Chewy red berries - strawberries, cherries - and bramble on the nose. Chewy red forest berries, gummy strawberries, Bissinger’s yumberry gummies, and blueberry pomegranate gummies on the palate.
