One day I was trimming cups on a giffin grip, and if you don't know what that is, it's a plate essentially that you put on the will and it has grips that hold your pot while you trim it. Anyways the cups I was trimming were so off center and I was like I must have did a bad job when I was throwing them, so I carved a rocky texture to hide the crooked foot, the funny part is the giffin grip plate was not on the wheel all the way.
