Honestly, she didn't know how she got roped into help train other agents.  First she was pulled from her cubicle life for field work, and now, in her down time, she was asked to help individuals train; better their skills as operatives and their performances on the field.  It wasn't ideal.  

May did what she was told.

Maria sometimes wonders what her life would have been like had her father just left her at the hospital, abandoned her and walked away from the responsibilty he would spend the rest of his life shirking and resenting anyway.

Maybe she'd have been happy. Maybe she'd have been even more miserable.Still, she wished she'd had the chance to find out.
