(SPOILERS FROM HERE) In the first book, I really resonated with Eve because of her chronic pain. I also suffer from chronic pain and it actually felt really nice to see that portrayed in a character! In this book, though I felt a stronger connection with Zaf. His struggles with his family's death and trying to respect Dani’s wishes about it not becoming a full-blown relationship! He is such a sweetheart 😍 But this book was so good! I honestly loved it, it had that feeling of frustration like “JUST SAY THAT YOU LOVE EACH OTHER GOD DAMMIT!” 😩 And that epilogue?
