🤍Hello bookish friends! 🤍 I recently finished this lovely read, and let me tell you: I LOVED THIS BOOK! The concept and the execution is just exceptional 😍  This was my seconf V.E. Schwab book and she hasn’t been disappointing yet! (Spoilers from here!) This book was so well written I loved it! The way she tells Luc off and makes him wait all this time! I expecially loved the time when he tells her he loves her, but she insists that she loved Henry. I felt so sad when I read the ending though.. I Understand she did it for ove, but still. I loved that he chose to write a book about her legacy though. 🤍Hi friends! 🤍 Do you like history? Or just historical fiction? I am a big history fan and I especially like to learn about ww2. Movies and books set in this period are really exciting for me! (Pictured: All The Light we Cannot See) SPOILERS FROM HERE This book was great in my opinion, I loved Marie-Laure’s relationship with her father! He really tried to let her have a semi normal life even though she was blind. He gave her books and let her help at the museum. So cute. Werner was a bit if an unlucky boy.. he was asked to stuff he didn’t want to and ended up being forced to fake his age and go to the front at only 16. And then ending up dying by stepping on a land mine.. my poor boy. But most of all his friend Frederick.. being so brain damaged that he can’t even remember his best friend? his story broke my heart. I am happy that Marie-Laure survived and that we get a little insight in her future life!
