Warren still was not sure what had possessed him to ask Bella Byrne to the Gala at the last minute, even as he sat in his car outside her house. He wondered if it had been weird to ask her in the first place, sure they were friends but he felt like he hardly knew anything about her. Even if they were going as just friends. His fingers drummed nervously on the wood grain steering wheel, his gaze shifting to his watch. Warren got out and walked up to her door, nearly slipping on the ice accumulated on the sidewalk. He rang the doorbell, shuffling awkwardly on his feet as he waited for her to answer. He had to do a double take when she opened the door. Sure, Bella was a beautiful woman, but he had only ever seen her in her gym clothes drenched in sweat. He had no idea she cleaned up this nicely. “Wow,” He commented with a smile, “You look, amazing.
