Walking in long strides along the corridor, the German kept himself strictly formal as he passed by familiar faces, pale eyes keenly observant on everything occurring around him. It was the typical nonsense that was often associated with the World Meetings; arguments, disagreements and discussions about irrelevant topics were not unheard of, as if, God forbid, anyone actually wanted to accomplish something. Well, just because others decided to fool around didn’t excuse Ludwig from doing the same. Work first, play later.
A partial sigh escaped him, more subconscious than intentional. He didn’t mind the meetings (he happened to be one of the few people who actually enjoyed them) but it wore him out easily. And stressed him out. And gave him a fairly harsh headache afterwards.
Eventually, after self-evaluating himself for a moment, Ludwig managed to confirm that he should perhaps go out and intermingle with others, anything to kill the next fifteen minutes before the meeting would actually take place. At a glance, it didn’t seem like there was any opportunity for conversation, and the blond refused to feel like some sort of intrusion. However, it wasn’t long before his attention landed on Arthur, who seemed to be lingering around the table filled with lunch platters and coffee. He wasn’t busy talking to anyone.
“Hallo Arthur. How’re you this morning?”
