HEADCANON before i actually really need to go to sleep

Bruce attended two boarding schools in his time.

The first was during his last year of elementary school. Only just given into the care of his aunt, it was held as a temporary solution to begin with.

The second time, though, at least should have lasted him throughout his high school career. The decision, whether to make use of the school's full-time option or if he would stay living with his aunt and attend only the classes, ended up being made mostly so by Susan's move to California (from Charlestwon, Ohio). But struggling through his freshman year, over the summer, Bruce moved back in with his aunt—in Modesto, CA—and transferred to a local Science High School.

Massive gummybear hoarder in his youth, although hoarder might not be the right word because he never exactly hoarded them for long. Thankfully, he grew out of it significantly when he moved into his own place, and realized that a 100% gelationous diet wasn’t sustainable, learned to cook actual food.

Probably because of that—having consumed a lifetime’s supply in but a few years—he now very seldom even buys them for himself.

Age?  ~40 years old.

Date of Birth?  14th April.

Hair color?  Brown (Green as Hulk).

Eye color?  Brown (Green as Hulk).

Skin color/nationality?  White (Green as Hulk) / U.S. American.

Accent (if any)?  Having grown up in Ohio and California for about equal amounts of time, not one that is very distinctly either.

Height?  5'9" (8'7" as Hulk).

Weight?  148 lbs (1150 lbs as Hulk).

Tattoos?  None.

Piercings?  None.

Birthmarks?  None.

Disfigurements?  Non-visible, one rib fracture that didn't heal 100% right. Now, obviously if you were to look on a cellular level...

Scars?  Currently none; the scars he had had were obviously not carried over to the clone body he had while separated from the Hulk and the Hulk heals without scaring. Previously, though also largely faded and generally hidden, marks of the abuse he suffered in childhood, mainly.

Do they have any nicknames? Where did they come from?  Brucie, Doc -- which Jen has called him since way back when they were kids already, Jade Jaws, Sakaarson, Worldbreaker -- all to describe the Hulk.

So with your recent time traveling, what are the things you regret that could have been but weren't?

[ He hadn’t needed to be thrown into the depths of a messed up time stream to consider such thoughts.

For years such had already been fuel added to the fires of his inner turmoil.

It’s one thing he hasn’t mastered in his life, as well as other aspects of the ups and downs that day after day bring. Letting go of those unfulfillable desires.

The simplest things. To be a husband, to be a father.

      It doesn’t mean much to have a woman share your name when you can’t be around to just sit with her through a quiet evening.

      It’s not the same to know your blood will flow on even after you’ve left this plane of existence when you can’t be around to watch your children grow.

What about the things that might not be, if you could go back and walk down a different path?

That picture stood on top of the fireplace in his aunt Susan's house; just how it was supposed to be, except for the people who walked by everyday to see it.

She probably packed it up for Bruce when he moved out. Last time she did, many to come when Bruce'd have to go skipping towns. Though I think it still survived all that, he just doesn't put it out anymore, not even when he had the Gammabase, not now where he's staying in Nevada and has honestly settled nicely, keeps it stashed away somewhere safe but never out of reach together with the wedding ring. //
