i crocheted a blanket for my niece who lives several states away and im wondering if there are any blessings for my niece i could say over the blankie before i send it on! im a conversion student so "obvious answers" wont necessarily come to me.

This is probably a basic question, but... When someone makes a bracha over, for example, the food they're about to eat, are you supposed to say amen when they're done saying it?
