Bruise tut for my own reference but you guys can use it too if you find it helpful! There are of course in-between stages but these are the "main" phases of a healing bruise. All the bruising is done on a multiply layer, and I like to use a textured blender first to combine the colors and then smooth them out in certain places with the blur tool. Be very careful not to over blend!
And of course keep in mind severity. Not all bruises will turn purple, and not all purple bruises will be quite this dark. I went for kind of an extreme example.
