Midnight Adventures || bruised-saunders
Maya chewed on her lip harshly as she continued to stare at her computer screen. She couldn't quite shake the nervous feeling in the pit of her stomach that had appeared when her conversation with Cam had started. Although she'd managed to calm the boy down a bit already she was still a bit nervous. If she couldn't convince the boy to stay in Toronto she'd have to go with her promise and take him back to Kapuskasing. Finally the blonde girl shook her head and shut her laptop quickly dismissing her thoughts. She'd just have to make sure that the boy had fun on their adventure. Hastily the cellist got up off her bed and headed to her closet to find some street clothes to change into from her pajamas. Once in her street clothes Maya slipped on a pair of shoes and made her way over to her room's window. Quietly the blonde opened the window before slipping out it and making her way down the tree that stood next to the window.
Once on the ground the petite girl brushed herself off and pulled out her iPod. Maya slipped an ear bud into her ear as she began her trek to the convenience store she was due to meet Campbell at. As she continued her way to the store the cellist couldn't help but thinking about the possibility of Cam leaving. She didn't want to see the boy go. For once she found someone that she felt as though she could confide in. Although she'd barely told the boy anything about herself, let alone the reason why she was in therapy, she had a feeling that she could trust him. Although it was probably selfish to want him to stay for that reason she didn't really care. She want her friend to stay in Toronto, and at least she could help him somewhat, he seemed to be able to talk to her unlike the therapist. Maya was pulled from her thoughts as the light of the convenience store came into view and she quickly made her way inside as she waited on the older boy.
