My mind's tellin me nooo - but my body, my body's telling me yes! Not just an R Kelly song - my true feelings every time I see a menu with #smashedavo on it 🥑Yesterday, less than 24hrs after touch down in #London, I hopped off the plane & into #brunchmode. Coming in at the slightly pricier end of the spectrum #weekendbrunch ala Sea Containers is perhaps best recommended for a special occasion (or if you're feeling flush). Regardless, make sure you come with a heathy appetite 😋 The menu is hearty & indulgent with an American twist - think #delicious waffles, crispy bacon, Boston beans (whatever they may be), #poachedegg & chorizo hash and sickly sweet hard shakes laced with #booze (£12 a pop!). The nautical themed venue is spacious & sophisticated with citrus coloured furnishings and a chunky rather eye catching central bar area. The waiting staff were attentive & the vibe relaxed (if not a little quiet to begin with). F2F rates it ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ worth checking out for bday brunching.
