Hubby and I got hooked immediately with The Mentalist which was aired later in Germany on March 1st 2009 (sorry for the bad quality of the German promo but who knew I'd have needed it 10 years later.... not me 😂🙈🙊). However my hubby of 20 years (27 years together) doesn't like it anymore coz he can't handle his wife fangirling over a tv show! 🙈🙊😩😏 So does our teenage daughter who thinks somehow mine and her role in the family are reversed 🙊🙈 (to my defence she's fangirling over "Riverdale")! Batman's Butler Get his own TV series set in the 1960's

"Pennyworth" Batman Prequal set for Epix.

And the DC Universe just got a little bigger, MGM-owned premium cable network Epix has handed out a 10-episode, straight-to-series order for Pennyworth, a Batman prequel that will tell the origin story of the caped crusader’s best friend and butler, Alfred Pennyworth. The action-adventure drama comes from the man who brought us, Gotham, although it is not a direct spinoff/prequel, and is entirely a new story. Reportedly, the series will be based around Alfred’s origins as a former British SAS soldier who forms a secret company and goes to work with Bruce’s billionaire father, Thomas Wayne, in 1960’s London. Heller will serve as writer and executive producer on Pennyworth, which marks a reunion with Gotham‘s Danny Cannon, who is also executive producing and will direct the pilot. Casting for the series has not yet begun and production will begin later this year. A series premiere is slated for 2019. Read the full article
