Thank you for asking and caring, lovely people! ^_^Well as you can see from the lack of tumblr presence these few days, uni is making me very busy. I have a lot of study to do but I'm also semi-living by the mantra of "work hard, play hard" so I'm balancing a fair bit of social life in there too ;) I'm absolutely loving the uni life! Can't believe it's been two weeks since I started :D

Same here. I ignored the twitter comments but it was infiltrating the google results for proper articles about the Super Bowl. When you're a fan and know the "truth" as it were, it's hard to see such judgements coming from all over the place.

Have you ever listen to Kanye's music? I've tried to listen to him, because Bruno admires his music so much, and I love Bruno's version of Love Lockdown which he mashed up with Innocent. But I just can't see why Bruno, music critics, and general public praise Kanye's music so much. I enjoy hip hop music and like some rappers, so it's not like I can't get into rap.

I can’t really get into rap music unless there are some interesting sounds or beats. Some of Kanye’s records I do like on that sonic level, but I wouldn’t be able to tell you about the lyrics or anything. I just can’t pay attention to rap :P

I really love that mash-up too! Love Lockdown is a nice one. It’s smooth and got that excellent thumping beat to drive it.

Hi Amy & Anon I hear ya on this 1… Don’t really understand why critics love his Music either and that he gets a lot of credit! Like every year he wins the Grammys?! But it seems like Bruno is influencing a lot of artist nowAdys which I like ;)

I can’t really say much critique about his work. It’s all down to personal preference really. Rap is one genre that I’m not particularly into. I think with Kanye, the reason why he gets credit is because he tries to do interesting things with the production - at least that’s the vibe I got from some of the songs I’ve heard. It may be that critics like him as a producer more than as a rapper?
