What brush do you use for that fountain pen ink style?

it’s Frenden’s inker (iirc from a big Frenden clipstudio pack) set to have a watercolour edge & its blending mode set to linear burn - u can do that w any brush though

I use this custom brush I made on medibang paint pro, but it is a while ago, and I do not exactly know how to recreate it again, sorry! I know it is a Sumi brush as I kept it in the name! If you mess around with the basic sumi brush, you should get something similar! Hope this helps!

Brushes: I use @apticho brush pack, mostly soft graphite 1 and 2 for lineart and adding details when painting. For backgrounds and laying down basic colors when sketching I use a modified version of a free brush that I edited for myself (but I don't remember where I got the original, sorry!) it's basically just a square brush. I'm always changing the one I use for sketching but it's usually soft graphite 1, artemus hb or this one. And I also use this one sometimes

I normally go between these brushes for sketchin n for lineart n such, colorin is just the default ones or i use a lasso tool

and this for SAI 2, sketches, lineart, and just like CSP I use lasso or fill bucket for coloring

Hello! How did you add paperlike texture to your art? I tried to use some asset from CSP but it ended up very messy and doesn't looks like paper at all

i use high res (< very important) but neutrally coloured/even paper textures of various types myself 🤔 i fiddle w the layer modes to see what effect i like best, as well as the brightness of the texture image

i Believe the ones i mainly use... came with a maxulichney brush pack? but looking on his website now i dont see them.. if i remember i will check if they have a name attached

i also used the riso texture overlay from the riso truegrit texture supply pack in my most recent drawings
