what remained of hassan’s resolve seemed to have left him completely — at least for the time being. val’s mumbled assurances were all he needed to lose himself again in the kiss, hands pulling the other closer and closer until their bodies were completely flush against one another. still, it didn’t feel close enough. the clothes separating them were distracting, irritating, but it wasn’t like they could shed them on this rooftop. not without seriously risking getting caught. at any moment someone could come up the stairs for a smoke or a hookup of their own and find them in flagrante — he could only hope that if that were to happen, it would be a stranger that caught them, rather than another member of val’s security detail or anyone else who might tell hassan’s employer. every breath seemed to require more effort, the adrenaline going to his head and making him dizzy. “should we leave? should we…go somewhere else?” he managed finally, pulling back just enough to speak.
