Bry. Bry. BRY! I FULLY SUPPORT YOUR DECISIONS. And yes I love how terrible the deleted scenes are because it's like A+ editing choices James Cameron (except for the scene that leads up to Rose's attempted suicide. That absolutely should've been left in).

RIGHT? I actually liked the little cross-cultural romance between Fabrezio and Helga that they left on the cutting room floor, but the alternate ending was sooo overly cheesy. 

God, that movie is good though. I will never be ashamed of loving it.

2014 toyota camry (i find that camrys…camries? are generally forgettable and if they’re 3-5 years obsolete it’s worse).

A Camry was actually my first instinct, because we owned a 1991 Camry for a really long time and there were ev.ry.where--very high “blend in” factor, you’re right. I wasn’t sure if it would be rugged enough, though. Could you semi-off-road in a Camry?

Try a Subaru Forester, or a Subaru Outback, or a Toyota Rav4, a Toyota 4Runner, or our old friend, a jackass yellow Nissan XTerra?

Jackass yellow is too distinct for my semi-on-the-run characters, but a different color might work and be a fun canon nod. I like the Rav4 thought too. Hmm...time to go fake car shopping.

NO! But we definitely should have. I'm in the middle of a giant Hulu/Netflix frock flick binge right now and the petticoated-chemistry in this one was the BOMB.

I really liked Cinderella Deal! Surprised myself with a few tear up moments.

It was such good, classic Crusie. I’ve read almost all of her older stuff, but this one slipped by me somehow. I really enjoyed it, though it felt too short for me. :(

What versions and where can I find them?

I own the 2011 movie version, the 1983 miniseries, 1973 miniseries, and like three different versions of the musical soundtrack. 2006 (aka my secret trash favorite) is on Hulu right now and that's the only one that seems to be streaming at the moment. Netflix used to have like four different versions, but they don't have ANY right now, because god is cruel.

Thank you for the heads up!! We lost a lot of our coding when Tumblr, in their almighty wisdom, messed with the blog templates a few weeks ago. The fabulous @mysilverylining was able to recover most of the site but not all. We’ll get on fixing those links ASAP.
