As much as Kurt was a romantic, he didn't exactly expect to have his breath stolen in a way similar to when grooms see their brides for the first time. Partly because he had seen Blaine in a tuxedo plenty of times, but mainly because he more or less picked out his fiancé's tuxedo.

He was so, so wrong. The slim cut of the whole ensemble fit him perfectly, and with the setting sun as a backdrop to his entrance, Kurt could literally feel his breath leave his body, only to be replaced with one though. 'Holy shit. This is the beautiful man I'm going to marry.'

It had just kind of slipped out.

Kurt had it all planned out, really. It was going to be beautiful and involve roses and a gorgeous venue and romantic music and it was going to be perfect. However, when Kurt and Blaine were curled up on the sofa, indulging in a Meryl Strep movie marathon, Kurt glanced down at Blaine's head, pillowed in his chest and the arm that he had around his shorter boyfriend tightened enough that it caused Blaine to look up and all Kurt could see was his soft smile and the love in his eyes and-
