“yeah, so, i don’t even know,” sky said as he looked over at bryshere. he shrugged, “it’s hard to explain, you know? like i feel bad but at the same time, i can’t really feel all that bad. there were all these red flags and maybe, i was just being hopeful?” he shrugged as they moved up in line. it was after their patrol and sometimes the burgers from the street vendors were just too good to pass up, especially at this hour. sky turned back around to face bryshere, “maybe i just ..., maybe i just need to figure myself before i get into any of that, right?”
