Just how big are the organizations in BSD?
I keep having this thought that keeps me thinking back on it multiple times. Some of the organizations I'm going to exclude from this are smaller organizations or undetermined ones, such as The ADA, The Hunting Dogs, The DOA (all for being relatively small) and The OOTCT (since no other members have been revealed yet).
When I'm talking about how big these organizations are, I'm mainly thinking about how many henchmen they have and not the actual members/characters that have names.
Like the PM. Just how big is it? I mean, the PM itself has some sort of control over Yokohama already, and from the sets of towers they have, they must have multiple workers working for them. In multiple scenes, we see groups of henchmen normally get taken down with ease or die, which makes me wonder how many people are a part of the Port Mafia. Just how big is Yokohama for multiple people to join and work for the PM? They keep losing henchmen, but they don't seem to be running low on them any time soon. I doubt the PM has just a few hundred. What if they're in the thousands? Or would that be too much?
Then there's good ol Mimic. It was stated that for one battle, there were just 40 of them, but it didn't look like 40. It's harder to determine how many there are considering they all died. Plus, according to a simple Google search (wow, such great research), a unit in the military, specifically a larger unit is a section that consists of 10 to 40 soldiers. Seems about right for a unit, but they have been running around for 14 plus years. You think by then that a few may have died from who knows what, logically speaking unless they're that good at surviving. So is it more or is it less when the audience is introduced to Mimic?
Where do these men keep coming from?! Because the ROTHOTD has henchmen as well. Granted, probably less than the other organizations, but where do they keep coming from?! Who's joining these organizations? Are they from Yokohama or Russia? Same with The Guild, but at least with the guild, you know they all come from America. Francis is stupid rich, he can get as many employees as he needs, so how many did he hire? For an organization like his, you expect a lot of workers, right? So would he have more or less than the Port Mafia?
This is all starting to make me question what the budget of these organizations are and how much their employees are getting paid.
