2. Are there any popular fandom OTPs you only BroTP? - a decent amount actually… any mxm ship in haikyuu that’s not iwaoi or bokukuro i tend to be kinda… they’re just friends dude calm down… honestly most popular slash ships that aren’t like hated enemies.  I guess you could say Steve and Bucky but if I said I cared about their relationship even in the platonic sense id be lyin’.

3. Have you ever unfollowed someone over a fandom opinion? - LMAO YES.  I’ve been way too nice about it lately, and tbh it’s more often i browse someone’s blog and see something i hate and go LOL BYE.  

4. Do you have a NoTP in your fandom? Are they a popular OTP? - I have a NoTP in most fandoms and it is far too often the fandom OTP.  It comes part in parcel with me not multishipping very often and tending to have very strong favorites.

5. Has fandom ever ruined a pairing for you? - I can’t recall a time I ever went from love to hate with a pairing because of fandom.  I have gone from neutral to hatred on a pairing regularly (Steve with Tony or Bucky, Kirk and Spock…)

6. Has fandom ever made you enjoy a pairing you previously hated? - If I hate pairings independent of fandom, it’s generally for a reason having to do with strong moral convictions of my own, so no it doesn’t really happen.  I do love my hated otps more out of spite tho!

7. Is there anything you used to like but can’t stand now? - God, i wish i could say hetalia.  I apparently used to like Hiddleston and Loki but those days are far behind me now, lol.

8. Have you received anon hate? What about? - Oh boy, let’s see.  DARING to say the truth that Taichi’s track record in 30+ volumes is fucking shit and he needs to shape the hell up.  Saying that I think bakudeku.tumblr.com is hilarious.  and calling out racism in a work because apparently being hated by terfs means you’re immune from criticism i guess?????

18. Does not shipping something ‘popular’ mean you’re in denial and/or biased? - Generally, with the way fandom is it means you’re actually critical of the ways in which you reinforce racism through media and can analyze the text beyond tired out tropes and oversimplification of characters.  It might also mean you aren’t obsessed with having two white cis mediocre males hooking up!

19. What is the one thing you hate most about your fandom? - So much.  The ways in which misogyny and racism go unchecked and people think that just because they come up with clever words for it, it changes the reality of the situation.

20. What is the purest ship in the fandom? - My otps, that are authorized by me are the only pure good things in fandom :)))

21. What are your thoughts on crack ships? - incompatible with the way i engage with fandom, but as long as you’re not straight up spreading lies about the source material it doesn’t bother me

22. Popular character you hate? - TAICHI AND BAKUGOU AND IZAYA BY GOD.

23. Unpopular character you love? - Every female character that got in the way of the fandom’s fave slash ship is my fave <3

24. Would you recommend durarara to a friend? Why or why not? - not without several caveats about how it’s a fucking weird and convoluted show that just happens to hit all my weaknesses.

25. How would you end chihayafuru? - personally, id end it with a meijinsen between arata vs suou and chihaya vs shinobu.  taichi would lose to arata before it and would finally learn how to lose gracefully, because that’s what his character REALLY needs right now.  i don’t think i want any huge romantic ending. just a maybe ever after with a confirmation that arata went to tokyo and that he and chihaya still use all their free time to play karuta is enough for this weary soul :’)

26. Most shippable character? - idk i feel like i don’t multiship enough to answer this.  im like those shoujo authors who have a compulsive need to hook everyone up by the end, EVERYONE IS SHIPPABLE.

27. Least shippable character? - Except Kyle Ron :) I also ship Bakugou and Taichi with being a better person lmaoooo

Hiii, I am a recent follower but not a new reader (I actually have read/reblogged several of your works that I came across more organically, but didn't put together until recently that they were all yours). I've really enjoyed your writing, both your smut and fluff pieces. motherhood and matrimony has been my most recent obsession (it has so many of my favorite tropes) and I am in awe of how you 1) write such long works, 2) describe things (emotions, interactions, etc) so simply but impactfully. it's something I struggle with, as I'm sure you can tell I'm very word-y, so I always admire authors that can do that.

gosh, i can't tell you how much it means to me to hear you appreciate how i describe emotions/interactions. sometimes i feel like i'm pulling my hair out trying to convey things just the way i want 😭 it drives me crazy cause i'm so meticulous about it lol. so hearing that it's resonating with you the way i intend, well that makes my heart feel so full! 🫶🏻

2. What is your favorite movie in your least favorite genre?

Ok I have 2 genres I hate and they’re war movies & westerns…

War movie: idk if it fully counts but Love & Anarchy is one of my favorite films of all time and is set during wartime.  But it’s a movie where the biggest decision is made by women and fully includes leftist politics in its story so it actively subverts what I find most annoying about the genre anyway… 

Western: So according to letterboxd even though I’ve seen ~2500 films, exactly 21 of those have been westerns.  And truly the only one I’ve liked is the Magnificent Seven remake and YOU KNOW WHY.

6. If you were on a bus or airplane and in charge of picking the movie for everybody to watch, what would you pick?

If Bre was on it, I’d marathon ALL THE STAR WARS MOVIES just to be a dick.

But um,,, truly I would still be a dick and subject y’all to Love Exposure.  Which is a full 4 hours of religious imagery, perversion, and violence.  And I would do it in full Clockwork Orange style where I force y’all to keep your eyes open through every moment.
