Transformation references to 90s series
The last time we see Usagi transforming into Eternal Sailor Moon in the movie is mostly a remake of her transformation in Sailor Moon S, but the sequence also references the first transformation in the classic series (blinking eyes, spinning and the leotard apparition) and the one in Sailor Moon R (when she spins for her close up). The opening hand gesture with the Eternal Moon Article, as well as the feathers throughout the scene, are references to her transformation in Stars. The final pose is from S but the moon in the background is from R.
