Happy Birthday, @circlejourney! I've been having fun experimenting with MIDI, and I always liked this song, so I figured I'd try my hand at covering it. I also may have added some bells and whistles. I don't know if you wrote the lyrics for Bird Song with Adelaide in mind, but it reminded me of her, hence the picture.

Sometimes I'll get a song idea in my head and try to recreate it in a MIDI sequencer, but I'm not skilled enough to put everything together the way I hear it in my head. But today, I thought of something simple enough that I was able to recreate it. I think it sounds like a song from the first Animal Crossing game.
I just found out about Sora's Pixel Converter and had a blast with it last night. Here's a scene from the imaginary Galactiquest visual novel. I even made some tense music to go along with it. (I'm hoping I didn't accidentally steal it from another game.)
I've had a few song ideas, but this one is the most complete.
“You feelin’ okay there?”
This one's a bridge and chorus for a Toshiki Kadomatsu-styled song. I always thought he had a distinctly him way of crafting melodies and wanted to see if I could create something like that.
I think I had an idea of a bassline and drum beat but couldn't get it to sound the way I wanted, so I left those out.

As you can hear, I included more instruments that time around. Some of them aren't quite the right fit, but again, I wanted to get something down before I forgot.
