I usually forget about Mermay, but this time I didn't. Tsuki's basically made to be a mermaid princess. The sketch for this was done on her birthday, May 11th.
I ended up drawing some sketches of Maxy's adult design and decided to use it as a testing ground for making his eye color a little darker. The old one's up in the top right.
Maxy after building the most confusing contraption you've ever seen: "They call me the genius of Jiyukoku." (No one calls him this.)
The great thing about animating this is that I get to make gifsets of my own characters. Yay!

Mai! ...and her parents, with whom she has a healthy relationship with (lie). I'm considering making her natural hair darker, since it really stood out against her parents (lightening their hair didn't look right).
The odd pair.
I've had this picture idea in mind for years. Though they're not a couple, I feel like Mai and Toni's relationship has that "bad boy / good girl" dynamic that shows up a lot in romances, but reversed.
Since Mai gets bullied for wearing a gakuran to school, Toni probably ends up wearing a seifuku for support, even though they don't go to school together.
