its the gal! sandstorm!!! a little less spicy than canon I’d say, a lot more supportive over all. out of the Girl Gang, she’s the one whose most friends w/ Mousefur, whose like Out of the Gang yknow. Just Slightly Adjacent. Mousefur was friends w/ Lightningpaw/fur but “hated” the rest of the firesibs (she didnt want to be associated w/ them cause they were ‘forbidden kits’ yknow but she also didnt want to be alone and thus gravitated towards Lightning and decided she was “good”), then Lightning left, and Mousefur was alone. She hung out w/ Sandpaw/storm in the background though because Sand was also kind of “adjacent” to the gang at that point. they’re not besties but SandMouse is a friendship I’d kinda like to focus more on in the future! they just chillin

also, for those like “whose Beach???” see ch. 57! Beach is a BloodClan kittypet, and in that chap he’s mentioned to be Minty’s mate and the father of Ash and Soot. he’s even mentioned to look like Sandstorm! later in ch. 60, Brindleface makes a comment about it being good that her litter has “warrior blood” bcus of Whitestorm being their father. this is supposed to be a reference towards Beach being Sandstorm’s dad and therefore not having pure “warrior blood”!

and yes, FireAlder did name him Beach because he’s a b*tch. also because sand comes from the beach lol

lynxpaw???? yo who coulda guessed i’d do her ref

she’s p much the character that i secretly really really like but she never gets enough screen time for me to actually show her personality and motivations :/

okay so basically: Lynxpaw is Swiftpaw’s sister. the two are very close- they are also close to Longtail and Cherryfur, as they are half-sibs + Long is Swift’s mentor so they just happen to be on patrols/training a lot together and are close because of it. she was also quick friends with Dustpaw/pelt! she actually admired him a lot, and, while at first it was just a “woah he’s cool, lets be friends!” the closer friends they became, she did develop a crush, tho she kinda tries to hide it while also being jelly when Dust likes/hangs out with someone else. with ambiguous-moralled, homewrecker womanizer Patchpelt as a father, Longtail as a close older brother, and Dust as a friend, she quickly took their ideals, believing cats like Featherpaw to be weak and a hinderance to the clan. she and Cricket got into a LOT of spats over this, as Cricket was fiercely protective of Feather, and Lynx would actually rarely be mean to Feather’s face (he prob thought they were genuinely friends for a bit), only behind his back where he literally couldn’t hear her.

Lynxpaw is the kind of gal to talk shit about her friends behind their backs to make herself look better to others. kind of a “pick me” girl type, honestly. she’ll suck up to authority, and bully those she views as beneath her. but to your face she’ll often be polite or friendly, though sometimes condescending or passive aggressive. she is a very very jealous person- she bonds a lot with Dustpelt over the fact that they were “made warriors late” or “others were made warriors before us unfairly.” or, well, in her case, that she still isn’t a warrior! she and her brother Swiftpaw are both of the strong mindset that they should have been warriors MOONS ago. i mean, as of Ch. 115, they really are over 12 moons, the normal age where apprentices are made warriors.

and that’s about as far as i can go for her without giving spoilers ;)

she smol <3 ahhh our lovely gal!! she just so she :) my favorite bit about her is how she’s related to like every important shadowclan cat ever lol. Raggedstar’s half-sister, Blackstar’s half-sister, Badgerfang’s half-aunt, Brokenstar’s half-aunt, Rowanclaw’s half-aunt, Russetfur’s half-brother’s half-sister, Yellowfang’s mate’s half-sister, etc. etc. she’s even Dovewing’s half-grandaunt-in-law!

so, BT versus canon her- BT was written BEFORE Exile From ShadowClan and just at the release of Blackfoot’s Reckoning, which means the half-sibling shenanigans was only half-known (as in, Dawn isn’t technically supposed to know she’s Black’s half-sis but oops she does in BT woopsies), and also Exile From ShadowClan retconned her brother (Volewhisper) back to life which is AWESOME and would have made a LOVELY STORY LINE but WE HAD ALREADY WRITTEN BT WELL PAST THAT POINT. (on the plus side we somehow managed to predict ShC!Ashfur being forced to retire to the elders’ den early due to injury/exile). ALSO! EFS gave her BLUE EYES and we had her have AMBER EYES. urgh

Fireheart as main character cancelled, Feathercloud is new protagonist <3 really tho i love this boy! he really stole my heart. precious man. i enjoyed making his life horrible and then making it even worse :)

he and Ravenpaw weren’t actually mates bcus in warrior cats culture apprentices can’t be/shouldn’t be mates but it was their version of dating (gf/bf/so) where they’re like “we will be mates when we’re warriors” (other examples include: Thistle @ Spotted = BAD!, Brown n Apple = bad-ish!, Mistle n Elder = good <3333, Spoilerfur n Spoilershade = they were both warrior age but still apprentices unfairly so they did straight-up call eachother mates lol)

he really made his sister dying his entire personality trait <3

him and Brackenfur’s friendship is also everything to me

its strange to think that he has like. 0 relevance in waca canon except for dying. like he’s so engrained as Fireheart’s Friend to me that its weird.

anyway! that scar on his side? its been in his desc for FOREVER now but i literally CANNOT REMEMBER WHERE IT CAME FROM. and i SCOURED THE DOCS FOR IT and NOPE. and i KNOW i put it there- i have memory of going “oh this would be a good scar” but like???? FROM WHERE??? the best I can assume is in Ch. 36, he is fighting Voleclaw, then Lightningpaw/fur and Silverpaw/stream, and i ASSUME it came from Lightningfur bcus, yknow, Lightningfur.

he’s a good and loyal friend but i think he’s like. a mediocre warrior. very fast, so good messenger and hunter, but like. not the best fighter out there. also sucks at mentoring/remembering to do things. has definitely forgot he was supposed to be on a patrol before and Redtail would tease him abt it bcus he was deputy and assigned him to the patrol lol

i swear i did not mean to draw Creekflower so big lol. Copperleaf was supposed to be the second tallest, but Creek’s floof was Too Powerful and now she’s second tallest and probably the bulkiest/biggest too. honestly? it fits. i see her as a powerhouse + mom bod + Thistle’s bulky build going to the kit who hates him the most is super fricken funny.

like ive said before Fireheart is a mommy’s boy in every way <3 he takes after her short n small build, plus he’s literally been mentioned to have her sweet herby scent multiple times lol (...maybe thats why he’s Thistle’s favorite- nope bad thoughts!)
