I got in the car to drive my friend around today, after accidentally entering the code to my phone wrong in my pocket too many times. And my car autoplayed the last audio I had been listening to. Which was the romance novel audiobook sex scene. And because I was locked out of my phone for ten minutes, I had no way to pause it. So I ended up quasi-yelling over it for a bit until I had the wherewithal to turn the volume down to zero.

I’ve been thinking about What it Sounds Like (love it, obviously) and specifically the part where the fans chime in with their melodic ‘ohs’ and it felt so familiar and has been itching my brain. I’ve been idly comparing it to Free in my head, trying to find if they’re repeating a melody from it.

Skip to me singing Golden in the shower (lol leave me alone) and then switching to What It Sounds Like and going ‘OH! The fans are singing back the melody to GOLDEN!!’ Aaa!! Specifically they do the melody belonging to ‘no more hiding, I’ll be shining like I’m born to be’!
