For US Army
If you plan on preordering Map Of The Soul: Persona please use the US link Big Hit provided
That link goes towards the Billboard Charts as well as will get you your album/s faster as they have an option for 2 day shipping
So using my genius deduction skills I preorderd the L version of the album counting on them continuing the love yourself storyline therfore the L version being Yoongi and Jungkook (like honestly I also wanna know what the fuck was Jimin and Hobi about but...Yoongi) but if they fuck me over.....I’ll be happy anyways :-) - Also the cheapest as always was ebay I hope I won’t be scammed (I have album including every stupid book and photocard and stickers and also a folded poster and a gift) But it probably won’t arrive as quickly...which is the price for being cheap I’ll give you the link on your own responsibility
DOES ANYONE HAVE INFO ON THE PREORDERING YET??? IM FREAKING OUT HERE
Where can we preorder the album? I want to but idk what the best site to use is. Thanks :)
hi there! So my experience with preordering has been with two different websites. My first experience was with Music-Plaza.com (MP). MP is a small kpop store in Los Angeles. Previous to preordering, I would always just buy things when they came out at the physical MP store because my family is from LA. but there were poster perks with preordering, so I started preordering.
MP is pretty efficient and got my items to me pretty fast after they got the items into their hands. They’re communication was really clear and I always knew where my items were at any given point (still in their stock, packaged, shipped, delivered). They’ve also sent me extra goods like stickers, pickets, mini posters, etc. Because I’m from the States, the MP shipping costs are just domestic prices so it’s not too bad. I’m not sure how shipping would work for people outside of the States. Also, the cost of the actual item you’re getting is typically a little bit more expensive than ordering from a korean website.
For a while the korean website Koreanmall.com (KM) had free shipping for orders over $49 and so I started ordering from there. That’s where I ordered 3 wings albums, seasons greetings 2017, dark and wild album (i was missing this in my (small) collection, and the epilogue dvd. I don’t think they have the free shipping over $49 promotion anymore but their international shipping price was actually not that expensive when I ordered the epilogue dvd which is why I still ended up purchasing from them.
There are a few downsides to KM is that you have no idea when your items will arrive. After you put in your order, you’re able to see the status of where your package is…but in my experience with all my orders, the status is not very accurate nor is the delivery consistent. For example, Sandra (@sugaa) ordered her 4 wings albums around the same time I did from KM and she got hers wayy earlier than I got mine and we live like an hour away from each other. I’m still waiting for my epilogue dvd T.T The second downside is that, they don’t have everything. So you might not be able to find something you want. The third downside is that their prices change on a daily basis but it doesn’t fluctuate a lot, just by a few cents. So you might order today and it might be a bit cheaper tomorrow but you can’t cancel/change your order to reflect the new price. Or you might order today, and it might be more expensive tomorrow. Either way, you run a risk by buying it today and you run a risk my waiting to buy it tomorrow.
BUT despite the downsides, I will probably still preorder Wings:YNWA from KM because it’s the cheapest option I’ve found. The cost of the item is typically on par or cheaper than other korean website AND the shipping doesn’t cost a lot. For example, my epilogue dvd was $32.93 when I preordered and shipping to the US was $11.92, totaling $41.85. If I order from Ktown4u right now, the epilogue dvd is $37.03 and the cheapest shipping option to my area is $17.55, totaling to $54.58.
Now, I have nothing against Ktown4u or any other korean website. I’ve just never experienced using other websites. If you’re okay with all the downsides esp the anxiety of not knowing when your package will come haha, KM is probably okay for you since I’ve received every package I’ve ordered with them except my last order so far and I’m pretty sure the last order is on its way right now. I know Whitney (@sweaterpawsjimin) said she’ll probably preorder from Ktown4u and I think she has experience with it too, try going through her already answered asks to see if she has any information about that! I also know Annie (@gotjimin) and Mal (@jungmal-minswaggins) have ordered from Amazon.com before.
I’m sure this is way more than what you asked for but I hope this helps you in finding a place you’re comfortable with pre-ordering from!
helppp
