Ellie wasn't really one to frequent bars, but today was a specific exception. Blankly did she stare into the still contents of her icy glass, lost in thought, alone in her own little world. Melancholy was a thing she attempted to steer clear of—she had little use for sadness, it did no one any good. Today was different, however; today, an absence was made all too abundantly clear. Though there was no shortage of sorrow filling her heart, no tears pricked her eyes, only a certain tiredness. She sighed and turned to rise from her stool, not really knowing where it was she planned to go, when she bumped directly into another person. A startled gasp caught in her throat and doe eyes widened to stare at the other figure.
