Oh Fxxk
Now I have to wake up like 7 am and go to the Prudential Center, hoping I get at least a good spot in line, starve and hope I can buy merch before soundcheck or between soundcheck and the start of the show :'( Why is this stressing me out?! I just want a lightstick, a hat and a towel. I don't want to see my baby's without a lightstick :(

Here’s a long rant about my experience at the BTS Wings Concert and how it changed my Got Dam Life. Message me if you have any questions about the concert, want to see any footage (I got distant videos of some of the stages) or if you want to share your experience!
It’s been two days since seeing BTS in Newark and I’m still reeling. I am absolutely blown away by the difference seeing them live (even in the cheapest seats) made for me.
Hoseok was magnetic--there was never any indication that he was tired, and no fatigue showed in his dancing through the entire 2.5hr set (even during the like 9 song medley of the history of bangtan????) and his english was heartfelt and adorable and his smiles brought us all to tears. I sobbed through the entirety of Mama...he blew away my wishes and expectations with a stage I hadn’t dared to hope could be so emotional, personal, and utterly perfect. He also made it his job to make the crowd scream louder than they ever had (he did the thing where he had one side scream, then the other, then both!!) and the HEARTS AND SMILES WOW. Anyways, I cry every time I think of little things like the added vocal run in Mama that he NAILED or how he said that ARMYs are BTS’s wings or how got damn perfect he looked. I could rant about his presence at this concert for hours (message me if ur ready for that), because it actually changed my entire perspective and understanding of just how much work he does and I have never loved him more or like this before. He was utterly the best performer in every way on that stage.
BUT that does not belittle the work of the other members... Namjoon’s determination to make sure all the fans crowded around the stage were safe and not shoving, and his utter humility and gratitude for ARMYs was palpable (also his TALENT, AND the fanchant for his solo stage!!!!!!!!! ;-; ); his professionalism and graciousness reminded me of just how excellent a leader he is and how lucky we are that he decided to start a hip-hop group. Seokjin was a picture of determination and positivity in light of his horrible line distribution, and could be seen blowing dramatic kisses at the audience and literally bounding across the stage regularly during non-choreographed songs, also his parts were all met with MASSIVE cheering (and Awake was PERFECT). Yoongi’s solo stage was BEAUTIFUL (string quartet accompaniment!) and his passion seeped into every single word he rapped throughout the entire show (also he did that shitty thing when instead of introducing himself he just put his hand up to his ear to hear the fans scream his name and it was fantastic). Jimin’s adorable attempts at english that eventually turned into rapid korean due to his frustration (which received debatably the loudest cheers of anything even though most of us had no idea what he was saying), and his utter intensity and focus in each stage which conveyed just how serious he is about his performance capabilities. Taehyung NAILED HIS HIGH NOTES (!!!!!!!!!) on his solo stage and BLEW US AWAY with how far his singing has come--also the fluidity of his dance moves and live!rectangle smile. Jungkook was a pillar as the most consistent center and voice part in all of their songs--he never faltered on notes, he never showed fatigue in his dance moves--even when he SPRINTED through a costume change after a very dynamic performance (Fire I think??) RIGHT into his solo stage where he killed it vocally but also energetically executed the very fast choreo (ALSO HE DID tHE RAPS FOR NO MORE DREAM AND NO AND BOY IN LUV!!!!!!!!).
This was my first kpop concert and I hate how cheesy it sounds but it literally Changed Me. Every time I feel down I will always remember the different kinds of determination, thoroughness, and intensity the members of BTS put into their practice and performances every day, and how goddamn inspiring it is. I have so much to thank them for. And my heart burst to see the rainbow ocean of ARMYs showing that they felt the same way I do, and that they were determined to show BTS just how important they are to all of us. Even if you can only afford to sit in the furthest seats (like me), see BTS.
