Do you ever think about how the Scoobies abandoned the Bot and left her to be kicked and torn apart by the demon bikers and just said “It’s lost.” Like they literally just abandoned her and when they thought they saw her again they were mad because they didn’t care about helping her, just that she might accidentally lead the bikers back to them. But when Dawn and Spike found the Bot they were both clearly upset and shaken by it even though they tried to convince themselves it was just a machine and Dawn even knelt down to close her eyes.

Reading the Buffy scripts is wild because then you Notice Things that don’t necessarily mean anything other than a reflection of the writer’s character portrayals. Like it’s David Fury not writing the scene in Bargaining ii where Dawn is sleeping on the couch and Spike is sitting up watching tv and that scene being added later then it’s Jane Espensen writing a scene in After Life where Spike is freaking out trying to find Dawn and it getting cut

It’s the Scoobies abandoning the Bot when she was just looking for someone to fix her to the Scoobies not fixing Buffy’s hands after her resurrection so she had to do it herself continuity

One of the many things about Bargaining ii that makes me insane is the way Buffy’s scenes are almost always arranged next to Spike and Dawn’s and thus have either motion transitions or dialogue transitions

My new level of insanity is I'm slightly annoyed that if you calculate the dates between the airing of The Gift and Bargaining it's only 133 days. If you bump it up to After Life (even though Bargaining and After Life are still the same day) it's still only 140. HOWEVER as I was typing this, I just realized a way to reconcile this: Bargaining 1 & 2 aired on the same day, so it's possible when After Life was written it was assumed the Bargainings would air a week apart, which would equal 147 days.
