I think the thing that All The Way was missing was hypocrite!parent Spike. Spike standing there, fully a vampire and Dawn’s best friend, lecturing Dawn about how she shouldn’t be hanging around with vampires. Like he’s pacing back and forth, listing all these reasons not to befriend a vampire while he’s literally in game-face, just fully ranting and getting the biggest confused side-eye from the humans and vampires alike.

Since everybody is talking about All the Way tonight I’m going to add what I think is some Very Important™️ commentary on Spike’s hair in this episode which is essentially that it’s like halfway styled, half not. He’s slowly inching his way away from the depression curls. Unsure if it’s really safe to let them go. Ultimately it ends up making him look almost boyish and gives off slight 50s comb over vibes. Personally think they should have kept it like that for a few episodes.
