upcoming remake aside, charmed is one of my favorite shows of all time and i’m doing somewhat of an inspired by plot for my selena gomez (mia garcia). long story short: mia’s mother was pregnant by an affair in vancouver which she was the “other woman”. when he refused to leave his wife, pregnant and alone, she fled back to her hometown of ontario where she had mia and raised her on her own.
she kept mia’s father’s identity a secret from her for her entire life. mia is currently a student at ubc, and a social work intern who has been trying to track down her real family. from the few details her mother gave her, she was able to pinpoint that her father was roberto morales, confirmed by her mother after his recent passing. via the obituary, she has tracked down her three half siblings and recently made contact. and that’s where the plot will pick up! i’m extremely open to how they are reacting to mia and everything, considering they had no idea she existed until now.
i’m totally flexible on genders and everything for these characters. as such, i’ve included suggested faces! i would like, if at all possible, to avoid carbon copies of the characters from the show so i’m totally encouraging gender bending and so on! overall personality types can be the same, but i love some originality in there too! if you have any questions or want someone, please don’t hesitate to ask me and send me a message!!! also you get automatic plots with katie’s matthew daddario who is mia’s cousin (so not blood related to the morales family but still pseudo related!)
