A strange, androgynous individual who always wears a mask and whose eyes are like that of a monstrous predator. They go by Bu, literally meaning “Terror” in Chinese, and have been responsible for the practical effects make-up in countless productions of horror, fantasy and science fiction-movies. Starting their work on small independent films at a young age, Bu’s work quickly became renowned across China and eventually garnered international fame. They have managed to turn the most ordinary looking humans into complete monsters, spreading terror from Xinjiang to Hollywood. They are incredibly determined, and have a huge arrogant streak. Some have even accused them of having a god complex. Despite their clear personality flaws, they are very intelligent and tend to stay laid-back until provoked. Bu is never seen in public without a mask, and many wonder what lies underneath. Some speculate that Bu themself has the visage of a monster...
