DECLAN SILVESTRI is a TWENTY-TWO year old undergrad student studying ENTREPRENEURSHIP. they are known for being honest and hard-working, but also being stubborn and oblivious. it didn’t take long before everyone started to call them the NON-CONFORMIST.

But I’m gonna have to itemize this bc writing at work is difficult...

Born out of teenage parents who were in their junior/senior year of high school

Needless to say he wasn’t planned

(this is coming straight from the rp where I played his father tho so bear with me)

his mom and her own parents decided it’d be better to pass Declan off as her little brother, which meant his own father didn’t know he had a son for over the first year of his life

he just saw Declan as his then ex-girlfriend’s baby brother

and he only found out Declan was his when - with their previous relationship rekindled - he was about to leave for College

((so he was pissed and his parents have never had much more than a cordial relationship for his sake))

also his father never wanted to be a dad but he took on his dad duties and Declan like he meant the world to him which he does

That aside - though it did shape a lot of his personality growing up

Raised and baptized Catholic as was his father’s preference

not that Declan really minds it so much, he just upholds some beliefs

traveled around a lot as a toddler, what with his dad in California and his mom in North Carolina

super sweet and patient which are two things his father was not most of the time

He’s a pitcher in the baseball team because he always liked sports and staying in shape (thanks athletic parents)

Really firm believer in doing what should be the right thing to do !! Even if it hurts himself in the process ??

Is majoring in Entrepreneurship and I can’t physically spell that myself because his grandfather is a wealthy man and if he ends up taking over the company as the latest descendant, he’d like to do his job right

But he also really likes performing arts because it brought him out of his cute little shell when he was younger so you might catch him onstage every now and then ... even if he starts out that way as a roadie of sorts

ok so her family is old money you know generations of the greatest doctors and lawyers and politicians and writers and ya know a couple of pulitzer prize winners and a couple of nobel prize winners……. basically she’s never really been exposed to anything except a surplus of money and that makes her kind of oblivious to its worth

she’s a bright little thing and she’s always had the best of the best when it comes to education so sometimes she can come across as… condescending with her big words but REALLY she doesn’t mean to at all like it’s literally just the way she talks she’s got that old timey southern drawl and uses obnoxious words because that’s just what daniel and annemarie made her do ((lowkey: if you’ve read the raven cycle……… she is very VERY much based on gansey))

she’s obnoxiously charming like will charm the pants right off of ya but will respectfully help cover you up until you put them back on again idk. she’s a sweetheart really and sometimes you really want to hate her but you just can’t because you know she means well…… or you can because well she’s got that whole…. condescending rich person aspect yeah sometimes i hate her too

she wants to do something bigger with her life. like she knows everything has been handed to her and she gets really frustrated with that sometimes bc she didn’t do anything to deserve it or earn it she was just born into it so she feels a really desperate need to give back to the world in some way, shape, or form…. she just hasn’t quite figured it out yet

she’s v driven so much so that sometimes she’s go go go go without stopping and it ends up in a mess because she took on too many things at once and didn’t give herself the time to breathe.

bottles shit up like doesn’t talk about her emotions and gets really quiet when her feelings are hurt. sometimes she snaps on the people closest to her when she gets overwhelmed with bad feelings even if it wasn’t them who hurt her... girl work on ur coping skills please 

she like rADIATES passion. her dad really wanted her to go into polisci or pre-law but in reality she loves history too much to give it up so she’s constantly knee deep in that and  specifically art history because her mom really got her hooked on that, she’s also passionate about other things like she really loves horses but not in a “we all knew that one girl obsessed with horses” way more in like a her family owns a bunch and one of her mom’s things is a summer camp for kids with disabilities and hORSEBACK RIDING so she loves that stuff

she’s weird about her money sometimes like….. homegirl drives a beat up jeep wrangler that likes to break down all the time despite her brother getting a benz for his sixteenth birthday. like she’s... pretty outdoorsy, never really into the shiny technology stuff. as a kid her fave thing to do was venture back to a lake behind the house and use the rope swing to jump in.

she has a very wild imagination and loooooves to go out adventuring like idk yeah hiking and shit that’s what she does in her spare time probably

hi! nice to meet you!! I’m alisa, 17 and go by she/her. this is josephine, a dreamy artsy girl that you’ll fall in love with.

-          Josephine Frida Grimes was born on October 24th, 1996 in Wellington, New Zealand to Edward Grimes and Elena Grimes.

-          Her father is an artist/art gallery owner and worked in New Zealand, her mother was an restaurant owner.

-          Her parents decided to move to the U.S to support Edward’s career since he found new oppturnities, especially in Columbia, Maryland

-          They moved to Columbia, Maryland where Elena spent her childhood and teenage years there.

-          Josie only had like two bfs in the past, she’s always been shy so she wasn’t really the first to confess her feelings and become introverted because of the attention on her ( also fake friends )

-          Her mother was a perfectionist and it also affected Josie as an child because her mom would sign her up for a lot of academic activities and it would stress her out. Elena wanted her daughter to be good and skilled, it put some pressure on her and it made Josie more hard-working. Josie’s dad was more chill, he would teach her how to play sports and take her to see movies. Josie’s dad also taught her how to paint, he basically inspired her.

-          Josie joined the theater club and was very active in high school, it’s where she met Jet and dated him. They eventually broke up and Josie is still a little bitter about it, but she has moved on.

-          Also Josie is currently struggling with her sexuality, she know she likes girls but feels confused with everything going on in her life ( for example, the break-up) and isn’t confident in her sexuality. She’s still sort of questioning herself. I was thinking there could be a plot where she’s really close to this girl, they always been there for each other and they end up falling in love with each other??

-          Also Josephine is studying Visual Arts, is in the elites social club, drama society, art society

-          Now she’s currently going through a tough break-up, she thought that her boyfriend was cheating her on and was a mess/got drunk, then drama happened? ( message me if you want this plot )

-          Josie has always been into music and wrote lyrics ( she’s a poet/songwriter, very creative girl), but wasn’t really outspoken about it since she’s shy but now has become more confident.

-          Also she used to have a personal tumblr as an teen and gained some attention online because she posted some cool ass photography, but hasn’t been on there in a while.

born as an only child to a loving set of parents who did everything in their power to provide for their baby boy; even if that meant having very little for themselves

nothing was ever handed to leightion growing up, he learned that from a young age

while his family wasn’t considered poor, they barely made it by and pinched every penny they had in order to pay the bills and keep a roof over their heads

leighton certainly wasn’t familiar with any luxuries life had to offer (i.e. cable tv, brand name clothes/shoes, or any of the latest toys his friends may of had)

this quickly cast leighton as an outsider, causing for it to be quite the challenge when blending in with his peers

from a young age his parents instilled the notion that education was his key to the world and in order to achieve his wildest desires he must work diligently

luckily, that notion resonated with him as he excelled top of his class year after year

at the tender age of five leighton’s interest in photography began to bud. much to his parent’s amusement, leighton would somehow manage to grab a hold of his mother’s camera and would snap photographs of whatever caught his little eye

noticing his rapid interest in photography over the years, his parents surprised him with his very own camera for his eighth birthday. from there his passion spread like wildfire

his love for photography never dulled over the years, in fact, it only increased. leighton was rarely ever seen without his camera in hand; it became a part of him no less than the nose on his face

his family’s financial status only saw an increase in stability by his early teens when his father secured a well paying job that uprooted them from their beloved home state of louisiana to maryland.

along with his father’s newfound occupation came a slice of wiggle room and the chance for him to stash what little money he was able away for leighton’s college tuition. though the little bits he was able to put aside would only make a dent in the ultimate cost, so he’d soon come to learn

fortunately, leighton’s hard work throughout his academic career balanced out the gap when offered a full scholarship to a school of his choosing, which, upon doing some research, happened to be none other than the prestigious beaumont university

( zendaya / cis-female / she/her ). aria mitchell is a twenty one year old undergrad student studying literature. she is known for being free spirited and passionate, but also being polarizing and stubborn. it didn’t take long before everyone started calling them the mystic.

Okay so Ari is basically the type of person that you either absolutely love, or you absolutely hate. There’s really no in between.

She grew up near the Kensington district of Philadelphia, and witnessed a whole lot of nasty shit there. Her family was pretty decently well off, considering the area, but she was witness to a lot of families that weren’t. Her parents taught her that the world was a messed up place, but they believed there was little they could do about it. She decided that was bullshit, especially after she saw a good amount of her friends have to struggle and steal for food when the soup kitchen down the street couldn’t cover things.

When she was 17, she really got to see into how bad things were, after one of her friends was abused by a priest at the church in the area. It made national news when the story broke, and it brought a lot more than anyone expected. Her friend had been abused in a multitude of ways, but it was her friend that the the catholic’s in the area that came for. She watched her friend who had already been through so much be torn down, screamed at, and even denied food by those who called themselves good people. That was the year she really found activism to be a calling of hers. She wrote an article about the corruption within the parish her friend went to, and about those so called catholics that supported the priest despite the evidence, and posted it on every media she could find, sending it to news outlets, police stations, anywhere that would listen. The priest was eventually charged, and under sentenced, and the church remained open after his departure. Her family decided to move out of the area to avoid what they thought was simply ‘drama.’ She hasn’t heard from her friend since, despite her best efforts.

After seeing how the justice system worked in her own city, Ari quickly found herself hating the current state of her world, and wanting to change it. As soon as she was old enough to drive she was going all over the north east US to rallies, protests, anything that shared her ideals. Her parents didn’t know the full extent of her ways, and therefor didn’t try to stop her. She’d write speeches and poems and pieces on the injustices she’d witness, perform them on occasion, to get the word out. Since she’s turned 18 she’s experienced tear gas and rubber bullets, and watched as nothing changed.

She got into Beaumont with her grades and some financial help from her family. They seem to hope that she’ll calm down at a college like this, instead of what’s actually happening: she’s learning exactly how these rich kids work so she can teach them the errors of their ways.

She’s got some bad habits of her own, stemming from all the things she’s witnessed. She cares little for authority, seeing as they did so little for her and her best friend in the past. She originally started smoking weed as a big middle finger to her family who sat by and did nothing, and her habits grew to cigarettes from there. She’s been drinking just as long, sneaking out and throwing parties to stick it to those who looked away. She’s daring at best and reckless in realistic terms. She has all sorts of scars from what she’s been witness to, and doesn’t allow them to heal before diving back in. 

She sees little in religion, after her experience with catholics growing up, but found some sense of spirituality in the form of tarot cards and mythology. She sees history and religion as a guide of what not to do, as a show of how mindless following can do more harm than good. Instead, she looks towards cards and stars and old myths as guides because they’re vague enough that she can interpret things as she pleases. 

She did find a love of literature though, particularly of those who wrote out against their situations, or changed the status quo. Sappho was always a favorite of hers, as a female poet who wrote a number of pieces that would be considered taboo even now.

She’s majoring in Literature, and is the VP of Omega Beta Tau, because while she probably shouldn’t be leading a bunch of activists, she sure likes the idea of guiding them. She’s incredibly loyal to those she trusts, and is more than willing to underhand authority even for those she doesn’t particularly care for. Love her or hate her, she gets shit done one way or the other, so she’s a good person to have in your corner, and a better one to not make an enemy of.

tl;dr: aria mitchell is basically the human embodiment of “fuck the system” and is willing to do damn near anything to screw with authority. She’s kinda black and white in her thinking, and it can get her into trouble when things fall into the gray. she’s someone who you want less as an enemy than you do as a friend.
