“all i’m saying is you should go skating with me… after we get mcdonald’s. because i miss skating for shits and giggles, and i also miss mcdonad’s… therefore, someone go to mcdonald’s with me. and ice skating. i don’t ask for much!”
“Ice skating and McDonald’s... you must take all of the ladies on campus by storm with perks like that.” Roy merely teased. Undergrads certainly ceased to amaze. Chase was no exception. “Are you really good at skating? I’ve heard you have a knack and passion for sports.”
arxandle:
◜ :*゚:.。 ╾ ◞ the idea of pestering her acquaintance in these early hours of the morning was more or less last minute, a quick turn when the crossroads of human interaction or electronic interaction presented itself. if he’d even be at his dorm was a question that presented itself to her only too late ( when she was standing at his door, exactly two seconds after knocking. ) pulling out her phone, she was just about to text him to see if he was home when the door opens. ‘ i came annoy you, so if that means eating with you, then i GUESS so. although, your current guest doesn’t seem too keen on the idea. ’
This day Roy welcomed Ariandle’s special brand of annoyance. Any other waste of time was better than listening to another second of this. “Don’t mind him. He’s just jealous.” Roy chuckled, not having to look at the business man to know an even more flustered expression filled his face at the suggestion. “Have you missed me so much, or is this visit serving a greater purpose..?” The graduate student knew better than to underestimate Adriandle, or any member of her sorority for that matter. Soon after they were left alone.
valcvstillo:
“You left this at the lecture hall,” a quiet mumble as left hand brings forth a manila folder with his name on it. Gaze falls onto an unfamiliar figure in the back, among the sleek, minimalistic theme of his apartment. Upon deducing that the older male clad in suit was of importance, Val shifted where she stood, hesitating to cross the threshold. “I…” voice trails at Roy’s surprising grin, despite waiting company. It hadn’t come across much as teasing to her as it did a genial invitation. Such subtle sarcasm sometimes was lost on the girl. Inquisitive brown eyes flicker back to Roy as voice goes down to an innocent whisper. “Was… was I supposed to bring breakfast too?”
Val was a bit too honest for her own good. Whether by words or simply expression. Roy often found the whole display refreshing. There were enough bold face liars on campus. Himself included. He briefly let the woman dissect the situation before taking the manila folders opposite end to innocently tug her further into the room. “There’s more than enough for the two of us.” Roy laughed off gently, searching through the folder leisurely. “Thank you for getting this to me. Finals still get to me. Sometimes...” This was certainly the case. A wandering mind made mistakes. Turning from the man he led Val toward the small kitchen so the other would see himself out. “Would you like to start with water? Oj? I hope my sharing a meal isn’t pulling you away from any morning activities.”
emirxsmith:
“Something like that,” Emir said leaning against the door, arms crossed over his chest. There was a smile on his lips seeing he was a morning person on certain occasions. Those occasions being alcohol and drugs. His clothes already had a scent of sknuk to it indicating that he had toked up on his way over to the private dorm, and while he smell like a walking weed farm, his clothes looked otherwise. Having left over ‘business’ clothes from his years in New York he managed to throw some wanting to look at least presentably to Roy. “I’m here for the mimosas but you know I will never say no to eggs benadict.”
Emir did appear remarkably presentable. Roy shot a dismal look over his shoulder toward the family colleague to ensure they wouldn’t get any ideas about Emir’s part in all of this. “Help yourself.” Had Roy a business partner of his own they wouldn’t arrive smelling like that anyway. A mock smile flashed over Roy’s face as he left the open door and leaned over the table to clasp the briefcase shut with both hands. “I’ll email you.” He wouldn’t. Once the suit wandered out, door shut behind, Roy turned to get an idea of what Emir immediately dug into. “I’d been dreading that meeting all week. ‘least they don’t show up unannounced, like some people.” He plucked up his now cold coffee to sip but muttered around the rim and moment before, “Now I’ve jinxed myself...”
littlemissannamae:
Not expecting the voice beside her, she turned her head to look at him surprise on her face. She thought about kicking them out but what if she saw their naked bodies and besides, she didn’t want to seem rude… “Could you, please?” Annamae asked her little voice soft and meek.
Pfft. Roy moved to a stand and wandered leisurely toward the student. Finishing off his cup of whiskey afterward. “And to think I could avoid baby sitter duties tonight.” With that, Brock confidently invaded the space. There was commotion from the other side, but the moment Roy cut to the chase and revealed the man below was promised to another girl downstairs the one on top was sober enough to think twice. Stumble away appearing the least bit ill. Roy escorted the man out by the arm and left him to scramble up each article of clothing. Rolling his eyes toward the young student, Roy retrieved his bottle as calm as he’d abandoned it. “I’d still clean the bedding... or burn it.”
littlemissannamae:
Friday nights usually meant the start of the partying and of course Sigma Epsilon Chi was no exception. Annamae wasn’t one to be a part of the parties but this one was not only at the sorority house but it was getting louder each hour. Annoyed she had stepped out to go downstairs to find someone to tell them to turn it down only to return to her bedroom door closed. Not only that but there was a bra handing from the doorknob. “Sex…they are havin’ sex on my bed,” she muttered to herself standing across the hall staring at her door in shock.
She’d passed Roy who sat alone on the stairwell. He’d stolen a full bottle of good whiskey to nurse at his own leisure. Shrugging aside to avoid the troubled girls passing, curiosity got the better the moment he heard her huff. “So?” He mumbled. “Kick ‘em out.
Or am I going to have to do it for you...?”
“have i ever told you how gorgeous/handsome you are? and i’m not just saying that because i’m a little tipsy,” he whispered, sitting down next to the other in the study lounge with a grin. “do you want some?” he added, lifting his water bottle full of vodka towards them. it wasn’t like him to be day drinking. especially in the lounge, but he had just finished his last class and it was his reward.
“Once or twice.” He offered an absentminded grin, plucking up his cup of java to sip instead. The partly balled hand nudged the others bottle aside in the process. “I’ll pass. Drink makes me sleepy these days.” Dark eyes strayed off the page of his tablet (he rented all of his school books this way) and once over Choi suspiciously. “Now that you’re here I guess there’s no getting rid of you, hm?”
Roy took breakfast and business in his spacious private dorm room. Not every fellow Beaumont student was aware of this so when the knock fell Roy begrudgingly came to answer. Calm smile and all. His mother’s business partner lingered in the background appearing more inconvenienced than Roy, “Are you here to join me for breakfast?” Roy teased while also dropping the serious invitation. With the company he could close the business matter early.
