listen I agree that the script for CW's Powerpuff Girls reboot isn't good but I think there's a thing everyone is ignoring.
it was written by Diablo Cody.
you know, Diablo Cody, woman who wrote Juno and Jennifer's Body.
I find it interesting that we praise her for those two scripts but basically bash her for Powerpuff. I mean some of the dialogue is a direct reference to Jennifer's Body.
not saying the script is good (I think the tone and style would be too weird for Powerpuff Girls). but I think it's interesting how we've made Jennifer's Body into a cult classic and we praise the dialogue. but now Diablo does the same thing and we shit on it. it's interesting
