More minor redesigns I did yesterday I think

I don’t know if Bubble Tea’s design looks better with white gloves or the beige tbh. Not much to say about Black Tea though, all I did was make her eyes bigger

Also I’m just now realizing they both have tea in their name. Hm

Yeah I don’t have much to say, I just feel like I haven’t posted much of anything recently

She’s a rear bomber cookie

Even though the majority of her body ends up being covered, like with Sour Rainbow I can’t help back make the base of her body first with full outline and position. God is it harder then it looks making the lineart, it’s a different level of hell compared to my usual thin lined works

But yeah Bubble Tea is in the works, this is usually where a lot can change, mainly in outfit. But yeah BT in as base

if you do rarepairs, is it ok if you do a fankid for Cherry Blossom and Caramel Arrow? you can take your time, and it’s okay if you say no!

Sorry it took a bit, but here’s Bubble Tea Cookie

I was trying to think of something that could fit both Carrow and Cherry Blossom, and I remembered, “hey, doesn’t Caramel Arrow like boba?” and I knew caramel was a flavor of boba, so I looked if cherry blossoms were in boba, and sure enough, there was Sakura milk tea. So, I decided to just make this one boba tea, though I chose Bubble Tea instead just to make it more vague

I think one idea I had was to name her after another flavor of boba, like taro, but considering I know nothing about boba, I though maybe I should just stick with being vague

I probably don’t need to, but boba/bubble tea (also I used the in game boba as a reference too):

So with her design, I knew one thing I wanted to do was put a pearl pattern on the bottom of her outfit, to make it look like boba. I tried to make her design sort of resemble boba tea, with the bottom being the boba and the top being the cap, if that makes sense. I added in the pink to represent the straw, and also to give some Cherry Blossom to her design, she’s kind of predominantly Carrow. I was thinking about giving her a Watcher outfit, but I decided against it so she doesn’t seem too much like Caramel Arrow. But I mean, I think she looks distinct enough from both of them. Also I gave her the gradient at the bottom since boba seems to usually look darker at the bottom, likely because of the pearls

So as for Bubble Tea Cookie herself, the main thing I really have is that she’s a bomber, because I had the idea of “what if she uses the tapioca pearls likes bombs?” since I know the pearls are chewable. I guess she gets it from her aunt Cherry, who she’s probably close with(also side note, the concept of Cherry being an aunt feels so odd since she’s a kid. Now I’m curious what an older Cherry Cookie would look like). I wasn’t really sure how to make the pearls into bombs, other than giving them little stems, but since tapioca pearls don’t have that, I feel like it looks a bit off

I don’t know if she’s a Watcher or not. I mean she’s probably a fighter in some regard, but I, not so sure she’s a soldier

What else can I say about her…well I imagine she’s probably like a connoisseur of boba, having extensive knowledge of all the flavors

Sorry I really don’t have much on her as a character. My mind’s been sidetracked with Evoland 2 thoughts. But I hope you like her regardless! (You know I’m really noticing how I always end my things with that)

Coralberry and Bubble Tea are right next to each other in my folder and I’m just now noticing I gave them basically the exact same pose and almost identical expressions, save for which eye is closed
