So this has been done many many times and I'm super unoriginal but I wrote this.
Bakugou stared after the redhead as he ran off, his fingers tightening around the stem of the single red rose he had been given as a token of affection. The blond crossed his arms with an annoyed huff, turning his back to the bridge Eijirou just crossed to head home, gazing at the fountain with a statue of two lovers in an embrace.
"...If there's a prize for rotten judgment, I guess I've already won that."
He rolled his eyes, looking once more to the rose.
"No man is worth the aggravation. That's ancient history; been there, done that."
Bakugou tossed the rose behind him, stalking off down the path with his arms crossed, trying to keep his mind off the stupid redheads stupid face with his stupid grin. But he heard voices. Quiet at first, but growing louder. Those annoying pests he kept seeing were picking the rose up. He knew them, named them. Mina, Sero, Kaminari, and Deku.
'"Who d'you think you're kiddin'? He's the earth and heaven to ya. Try to keep it hidden.
Honey, we can see right through ya."'
Bakugou covered his face with an annoyed groan.
'"Boy, you can't conceal it. We know how you feel. And who you're thinking of."'
As the smallest of the four, Deku, tried to give the flower back to Katsuki, he smacked it away and shook his head, picking up his pace.
"No chance, no way! I won't say it, no, no!"
'"You swoon, you sigh. Why deny it? Uh-oh~"'
Bakugou glared at the little faeries following him around, the one named Kaminari swooning in Seros arms with a grin. The blond just wanted to squash them, but he covered his mouth, hiding the blush forming.
"It's too cliché. I won't say I'm in love."
His eyes lingered on the red flower, his chest tightening as he remembered how shy Kirishima was when he gave it to him. Catching himself, he shook the thoughts away and stomped away from the annoying faeries.
"I thought my heart had learned its lesson..."
His hand pressed to his chest, looking down with a sad sigh, giving a sarcastic chuckle.
"It feels so good when you start out. My head is screaming 'Get a grip, man, unless you're dying to cry your heart out'. Ohhh..."
The four fae giggle and plop down on Katsukis shoulders, ignoring his obvious annoyance at their presence. He sat down, trying to pretend they weren't there but their voices couldn't be tuned out.
'"You keep on denying, who you are and how you're feeling. Baby, we're not buying. Hon, we saw you hit the ceiling.'"
Bakugou shook his head and glared at Mina and Deku, the two grinning at each other.
'"Face it like a grown-up. When you gonna own up, that you got, got, got it bad?"'
Katsuki huffed, begrudgingly taking the rose, not because he wanted to but because he saw them struggling.
"No chance, no way. I won't say it, no, no."
The fae were softer now, flitting around in the air around the blonds head.
'"Give up, give in. Check the grin; you're in love."'
Bakugou frowned at them and raised his voice, as if threatening to burn the rose. But he felt a pang of guilt for even thinking that.
"This scene won't play! I won't say I'm in love."
Kaminari and Sero sang, Katsuki sighing heavily. Mina and Deku followed their friends.
"'Read our lips: You're in love."'
"You're way off base, I won't say it. Get off my case, I won't say it."
Katsuki chimed in defiantly, but he knew they knew he was lying. Kirishimas stupid smile kept popping up in his mind.
"'Boy, don't be proud! It's okay, you're in love."'
Their soft and gentle voices together made Katsuki soften, a slow shy smile spreading on his lips as he looked at the rose Eijirou gave him, a blush spreading across his face.
"Ohhh... At least out loud...I won't say I'm in love..."
"'Shoo do, shoo do, shoo do, shoo do"'
"'Sha-la-la-la la la, ahh"'
