2.What were you dreaming of last night?

I dreamt that I went to Hogwarts but everyone was really horrible so I ended up chatting to my history teacher. Then we had to do a stupid teamwork game where we had to pass a ball between our legs then run to the front of the line. To make it more bearable I played 'I'll Be Your Mirror' by The Velvet Underground & Nico out loud but then a bitchy girl who goes to my school irl turned it off and that was the end.

3.Do you have any “happy place” filled with pleasant memories? If so, please describe it.

Not really. My "happy place" is probably my bedroom just because it's the only place that's 'mine' and I've decorated it to represent that but pretty much all my worst memories are from my bedroom too so idk.

4.Which quote means a lot to you and why?

"We're all beautiful golden sunflowers inside" (Allen Ginsberg, Sunflower Sutra) because I have the entire poem written out and stuck on my wall and when I get sad I read it and it makes me feel a bit better.

5.What do you like more, prose or poetry?

6.If you had to pick one piece of clothing that represents you, your personality, etc, what would it be?

I think probably a black drop-waist dress like the classic '20s Chanel lbd

1. favourite band you just discovered this year?

arctic monkeys. obviously i'd heard of them/heard some of their songs before but i only really listened to them/got their albums this year. i realise i'm a bit late at catching on but they're pretty good.

2. band you used to like but now hate?

i really don't know. i don't really hate anything that i used to like because when i listen to it now it takes me back to that time and i am an incurably sentimental and nostalgic person. the only reason i would hate a band would be if they expressed especially offensive views (like justin bieber has done.) for example, i don't particularly like jls' music but i used to love it. nevertheless i keep it all on my ipod because it makes me smile when it comes on when my ipod's on shuffle. 

3. favourite britcom ever?

um, probably the office but idk. i mostly just watch whatever's on!

4. do youu believe in god?

i don't know if i believe in the conventional idea of god but i believe in something. i like to think that someone or something is out there because it gives life meaning or whatever but i only really think that because it gives me something to think about when i'm sad.

5. what do you think of 1D?

i used to be really anti-one direction but then i realised that i had no reason for having those views! i find a lot of their most popular songs annoying (not to sound pretentious of whatnot) but overall i find their cultural impact really fascinating. zayn is hot but i think i prefer directioners to one direction because they're very amusing.

6. best live act you’ve ever seen?

the concerts i went to last year were all great for entirely different reasons. however, based on the live performance rather than anything else, i'd have to say palma violets. it was such a great atmosphere.

7. the book that gave you the most food for thought?

that's a good question. i think probably on the road because i've been obsessed and fascinated and inspired, in equal measures, by the beat generation ever since and it gave me a new perspective on a lot of things.

8. if you could be the main character of any film, what would it be and why?

i could think about this forever but i'm going to go with 'coco before chanel' because playing chanel would be an honour.

9. favourite genre of music?

indie rock i guess but i listen to most genres really.

10. favourite Smiths song?

why would you ask that??!!! i do have an answer though: 'i know it's over.'

writing, although it's not usually what i end up doing.

i can't pick out a scariest moment--what gets me the most is life itself.

4) What academic grades do you consider good? (ex. A, above C+, 100%, 85%…)

anything above a 75 because grades don't reflect a person's intellectual capacity and are mostly just over-simplified judgements that define people in the most shallow way possible. that being said, most below 75 grades are that way due to lack of effort, which i don't consider very good.

5) What’s the one thing you would do if you were able to do it?

6) Do you know any foreign languages?

i used to be fluent in mandarin and i take spanish in school now.

7) What did you get for Christmas/Hanukkah?

the new itouch, a camera, some books, a hole necklace, a sweater, some nail polish  some clothes, candy
