She stole Amy and Rory’s baby, and that’s not cool with me. least favourite male character: DONNA’S DBAG ALMOST-HUSBAND IN THE CHRISTMAS SPECIAL HE IS THE WORST, HOW DARE HE HURT DONNA LIKE THAT favourite ship: Doctor/River, duhhhhh least favourite ship: I guess this is more Torchwood, but Jack Harkness/sadness. I AM AGAINST IT. film/tv show rating: 9/10 (minus 1 point for some truly horrible episodes hahaha)

I LIT-RALLY love Dan/Casey more than anything ever????? I am SUCH a sucker for best friend relationships. And also they work together, so they are friends and PARTNERS and they write together and have this thing that is theirs and everyone involved in the show is their family and it’s just ughhhhhh. I also especially like best friends relationships if they are kinda (okay a lot) co-dependent and weird about each other and have SERIOUS ISSUES.

Because one of my favorite things about Dan and Casey is their issues and there are just these huge THINGS they don’t talk about in their relationship, like how Casey’s marriage fell apart because basically working with Dan was more important and then how season 2 is just this building up to a huge fight because Dan feels insecure and like he’s always second best and not really necessary. And Casey is a clueless jerk and when Dan finally lashes out it’s kind of deserved but then IT JUST HURTS SO MUCH AND DAN IMMEDIATELY REGRETS IT AND DASKJDSAF;LSDF;LKS WHY.

Aaaaaand because Sorkin is a huge sap, then we got the best makeup reunion scene and I burst into hysterical happy tears and cried for half an hour and every time I think about it.

I LOVE SO MUCH ABOUT THE THINGS THEY CHOOSE TO BE.

First, I love River so much, as I’m sure LIT-RALLY everyone who follows me is aware. And I also love Amy and Rory so I love the whole all-in-the-family aspect of the Doctor/River relationship and how it relates to his relationship with Amy and Rory. It makes me all emotional and is and also hilarious.

Plus, Alex Kingston and Matt Smith have such great chemistry, and so all the flirting just WORKS and I really love that they totally went for it despite the age differences in the actors, which, just makes it hotter tbh.

AND the relationship in general is everything I love. It’s like The Time Traveler’s Wife in space?!?!??!?!?! It’s so beautiful and sadddddd. And I like that River can kind of take the Doctor down a peg and throws him off balance, because he needs that sometimes, and though she loves him, she is willing to make fun of him, so what else could you ask for???

CHRISTINA IS "ACCIDENTALLY" ON ANONYMOUS FOR THIS BUT I KNOW IT WAS HER BECAUSE I IMMEDIATELY SENT HER A HORRIFIED TEXT MESSAGE SINCE I KNEW SHE WAS BEHIND IT AND SHE WAS JUST LIKE "OH I DIDN'T MEAN IT TO BE ANONYMOUS, I'M REALLY PROUD OF IT" SO HERE YOU GO EVIL PERSON:

1. Dan/Casey (1-2 is basically a tie but I had to put it this way because: "...I wouldn't trade the last 10 years working with you for anything. Not anything, Danny, I swear to god.")

I have spent basically the last 20 hours having an existential crisis because asking me to choose between Dan/Casey and Mark/Eduardo is asking me to choose between, like, I don't know, THE VITAL ORGANS OF...MY SOUL. Also, because, haha Sorkin (also haha me for loving it so much), there's the fact that basically Casey and Dan and Mark and Eduardo are variations of the same people and relationship and issues, and WHAT IF SORKIN HAD BEEN ABLE TO WRITE AN EMOTIONAL FRIENDSHIP MAKEUP SCENE FOR MARK AND EDUARDO LIKE HE DID FOR DAN AND CASEY WHAT WOULD THAT HAVE LOOKED LIKE OH MY GOD I WANT TO DIE BECAUSE I NEVER GOT TO SEE IT HAPPEN. But yeah, I had to go with Dan/Casey because I feel like we owe the Mark/Eduardo dynamic to them (not that it's exactly the same, but if you've seen both, I think you know what I mean).

...Then the other 3 just fell into place, and I didn't have the energy to feel upset about it...yet.
