Which of your OCs do and don’t believe in the moon landing?

thanks, nico doesn't think that they never went to the moon, nico thinks they went to the moon but encountered aliens and were sworn to secrecy so nasa had to make fake footage pretending the landing went normally. he legitimately thinks the flag thing is a compelling point.

It’s times like this I feel the urge to go back and watch old episodes for any indication of foreshadowing for who White Diamond will be or currently is or an idea of what she once was, or just... ANY sort of sense of what’s happening, y’know? She’s off-putting, but in a really specific and familiar manner, but I just can’t quite put my finger on it.

It’s the connection to Rose’s Room that’s specific and familiar, probably.

But I agree there must be other hints and nods toward White Diamond in past episodes, I just ... can’t imagine what? We’ve vigilantly pored over every episode by now that -- besides Rose’s Room, and the temple, mural, and gem in ‘Serious Steven’ -- I have no idea what else there could be.

I’m really happy to hear that you’ve watched Adventure Time! It’s one of my favourite shows, and I’d love to hear your thoughts on it! Do you have a favourite episode? Character? Song?

Uuuugghh there were so many good episodes I don’t think I could pick just one. But Jake’s my absolute favorite character hands down, so any episodes more centric to him are pretty up there. I love the whole Mertens family – Finn, Jermaine, Joshua and Margaret, Lady Rainicorn and their kids, and so on.

The ‘Islands’ miniseries has some of my favorite episodes in the whole show. Pretty much any of the critically acclaimed episodes are ones I thoroughly enjoyed, but I’m really fond of ‘The First Investigation’ for how humble and sweet it was, and it’s focus on the Mertens family. Also Jake’s little dance when he was born is one of my fav moments just ‘cause baby Jake is so cute

As for songs, ‘Everything Stays’ has been a favorite of mine long before this binge, as well as ‘Buff Baby’ and ‘My Best Friends In The World’. After the binge, I can say some other favs of mine are ‘Slow Dance With You’, ‘Everything’s Falling Into Place’, and ‘Time Adventure’. (And any song Jake sings, of course.)

I was thinking more about the parallels between Rose’s room and White Diamond/Pearl, and of course not everything that occurred in there will be relevant, but I started thinking more about the dialogue. Two specific parts stood out in my memory; Steven asking Rose if he was only born so she could escape her mistakes/past (the exact quote escapes me; however, it does fit scarily well with your Replacement theory) -

- as well as a quote for which I can’t seem to find a connection to White Diamond and her Pearl, but if there is one, it would certainly make things more worrisome; “There’s nothing here but me.”

I still think that Pink had her own ‘Storm in the Room’ episode with her room’s version of White, which would parallel that episode fairly well if White truly does intend for Pink to take her place.

But even if my theory isn’t true, I imagine Pink spent at least some time talking to White in her room, because it’s the only place White would listen to her.

Though I’m not sure if White’s been aware of everything that’s happened through Rose’s room, or if the mechanics in Rose’s room is just modeled after her.

I really hope it’s the latter, because knowing White has been watching everything that’s happened on Earth since Pink’s “shattering” would just make rewatching the series feel reeeaaally eerie.
